Traffic is binary rather than HTTP, with a connection or session handshake followed by framed game-operation and event messages; the relay forwards traffic between participating clients without exposing direct peer-to-peer connectivity. Photon deployments also commonly use other ports, including TCP 4530 and UDP 5055, so 4868 is not a universal indicator of every Photon installation.
