RPKI-RTR is a TCP protocol between an RPKI cache server and a router, normally using TCP port 323. A router establishes a persistent session and exchanges framed protocol data units, using serial or reset queries to synchronize validated ROA data and cache state. The protocol supports incremental updates and full resets; RPKI-RTR over TLS is assigned to TCP port 324.
