For standard DICOM TLS, a client first establishes a TLS connection over TCP; after the TLS handshake, the peers exchange the normal DICOM Upper Layer protocol, including association negotiation and then DICOM services such as DIMSE. Port 2762 is the registered DICOM TLS port, but it is not universal across deployments. Although the registry lists both TCP and UDP, standard DICOM TLS uses TCP; that UDP listing does not mean ordinary DICOM TLS traffic is expected over UDP.
