McAfee Agent, local network discovery
McAfee software currently installs a Network Agent service on Windows machines, this service actively sends traffic out on UDP 6646 to try discover other devices on the local network.
The only way to stop this traffic at present is to disable the "network agent" service within the Windows services menu.
It is not yet clear exactly what the traffic is used for, we assume to distribute updates locally to save bandwidth, or just identify other computers on the LAN.
